The Korean War took place in the year 1950 to 1953. The dispute was that Japanese had dominated over Korea from the end of Chinese- Japanese war in 1896. The conflict between the Northerners supported by China with military aid from the Soviet Union and Southerners, with support from the United Nation and the US, was because of Korean division insinuated by a treaty signed by victorious Allies at the end of Pacific War of the Second World War. The Chinese government thought the U.S. military joint the Korean War because North Korean threatened China territory (interview). The war became the first war where the United Nation had a role in the affair, and formed part of the cold war between the United States of America and the Soviet Union. Korean War became one of the deadliest wars in history where many lives in a short span of three years were lost.
